What is Interlock?

Throughout 2017 I found myself giving a lot of time to talk to a lot of great women about God. As a Christian woman I truly believe in being a voice for God into lives that don’t know Him yet. I wanted to create a platform where All Women could unite to safely ask and discuss matters of life and faith. Interlock is about answering those questions from a Christian, judgement-free, World-experienced perspective.

The women I spoke to last year wanted to know the key reasons why I believe in God, they wanted to know who He was through a believers eyes rather than the medias depiction. The questions varied from woman to woman. Sometimes they took a more scientific/evolution approach, and sometimes they took a more philanthropic view. Sometimes it was, “Do you believe in the big bang?” and other times it was “Do you disagree with homosexual marriage.” And sure these topics in ways are quite complex, but faith isn’t and Interlock is a community that focuses on being honest, helpful and humanitarian and therefore no questions are off limits.

Additionally throughout 2017 I found myself talking to a lot of women about life. The day-to-day struggles, like self-motivation, self-doubt, self-image, self-worth, “Why am I single,” “Where is my life heading;” and also the discussion of much bigger issues that push you towards a darker place in your mind like, broken relationships, abusive relationships, bullying, mental & physical health issues. Questions like, “Is God listening?” “Why does God let me suffer?” “Does God really forgive all of my sin?” These can be vulnerable questions to ask, Interlock aims to provide women with understanding and reassurance that they are not alone in their experiences but also that there are ways of overcoming even what seem the biggest of obstacles.

A positive attitude always relates back to your position in God, where you are with Him ultimately determines where you are in yourself. So I decided for 2018 that I would create a blog that welcomed All Women of all ages, from all walks of life, whether they be fourteen or forty; to connect in a place where we can all ask, discuss and unite through our struggles, our questions, our experiences and our faith.

My only rule for this community is that everything we put out comes from a place of love, so that Interlock remains a completely judgment-free environment that feels safe for All Women to join.

Proverbs 15:22

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisors they succeed.
